Assistant General Manager (AGM)
About the Role
At Pickle N Pins, our mission is simple: Make it Fun, Keep it Safe, and Deliver Great Guest Experiences. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a key leadership role in bringing that mission to life every day.
As the AGM, you’ll partner closely with the General Manager to lead daily operations across all areas of the facility—including attractions, food & beverage, and guest services. You’ll help ensure an energetic, safe, and seamless experience for both guests and team members while driving operational excellence, team development, and profitability.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Daily Operations: Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house activities including bowling, arcade, pickleball, ropes, bar, kitchen, and event areas to ensure consistent service and safety standards.
- Deliver Guest Excellence: Model and reinforce a “guest-first” culture—responding quickly to concerns, elevating service recovery, and inspiring your team to create memorable moments.
- Coach & Develop Teams: Recruit, train, and mentor team members to reach their full potential while maintaining a fun, respectful, and high-performance work environment.
- Drive Performance: Support financial goals by monitoring labor, inventory, and expense controls; analyze results and identify opportunities to improve margins and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance: Uphold all company policies, health and safety regulations, and brand standards; lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant facility.
- Act as GM in Absence: Take full responsibility for the park’s operations when the General Manager is off-site, ensuring business continuity and smooth communication with corporate leaders.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with other leaders and the Corporate team to implement marketing initiatives, HR processes, and operational improvements across locations.
